However, Trappist breweries span fruther than jus tthe borders of Belgium. La Trappe is the only Trappist brewery in The Netherlands, and produces a classic Belgian Dubbel, Tripel & Quad. Also, if you ever see the word 'Kloster' on a German beer, that means it's brewed by monks as well! Trappistes Rochefort 10 - Dark color, full and very impressive taste. Strong plum, raisin, and black currant palate, with ascending notes of vinousness and other complexities. 11.3%
Trappistes Rochefort 6 - The Rochefort 6 is a Belgian dubbel ale and the oldest of the three Trappist ales produced by the Brasserie de Rochefort. This outstanding dubbel has spicy, malty, dried fruit aromas, it is complex yet inviting. 7.5%
Achel Blond - A pale, strong, fruity, hoppy Trappist ale from one of Belgium’s six official abbey breweries. 8.0%
St Bernardus Pater 6 - A traditional abbey style dubbel, chestnut in colour, very fruity with notes of melon and very fresh banana, finishing with a slight bitterness. Delightfully easy to drink. 6.7%
St Bernardus Tripel - St.Bernardus Tripel has a slightly sweet aroma and a flowery, fruity taste in which bitter and sweet merge harmoniously. Thanks to its pleasant hoppiness, the mouthfeel of this beer is nothing short of beautiful. 8.0%
St Bernardus Abt 12 - Abbey ale brewed in the classic Belgian ’Quadrupel’ style. Dark with a full, ivory-colored head. It has a fruity aroma, full of complex flavours and excels because of its long bittersweet finish with a hoppy bite. 10.0%
La Trappe Dubbel - La Trappe Dubbel has a deep brown colour and attractive beige froth. The use of caramel malt gives it a gentle aromatic caramelised quality. It has a rich malty flavour with a touch of sweetness. 7.0%
La Trappe Tripel - Full bodied and intense tripel from La Trappe. It has lots of fruity notes from the hops and yeast, and a smooth, warming and bready finish. 8.0%
La Trappe Quadrupel - Quadrupel is La Trappe’s heaviest ale with a stunning amber colour. Its warm and intense flavour is rich and finely balanced. Malty sweet, slightly burnt, and pleasantly bitter with a sweet aftertaste. Quadrupel continues to ferment after bottling and offers aromas of banana, almond, vanilla and others. 10.0%
Andechs Bergbock Hell - A highly discrete, finely bitter hoppiness transforms into a slight honey sweetness to conclude on a soft, harmonious aftertaste. 6.9%
Ettaler Kloster Hell - By using selected malts and hops from the Hallertau, this beer is something very special. It has a pleasant sweetness that forms a synthesis with the delicately tart aroma of the hops. 5.0%
Ettaler Kloster Dunkel - A dark beer, light and sweet and full bodied, highly fermented, very malty aroma. The slight sweetness rounds out the flavor and gives this drink a monastery special character. 5.0%
