Description: Nduja is the undisputed queen of Calabrian cured meats and of Calabria itself.
It is a "poor" product, coming from humble origins, but which has now become the leader in spreadable cured meats.
It is a sausage with a soft consistency, a bright red color given by the spicy chilli pepper which gives it the typical biting taste.
Produced mainly in the winter months, it contains the fattiest part of the pork, such as bacon, bacon and lard, chopped and mixed with the abundant addition of chilli pepper.
Its use is very versatile and adapts well to different situations: it can be consumed by spreading it on bread or croutons, as a condiment for first courses or even to enrich tasty pizzas.
Ingredients: pork fat 45%, pig 30%, red pepper 25%, salt.
