Description: For us it is the brewing of our annual Eccles Stout which marks the commencement of the festive season. Each year our dear friends 40FT deliberate and tweak the recipe afresh, each year the result is even better than the one before. This year will be no different. We are adding more currants by the kilo and the recipe now pays still closer homage to the beloved St. JOHN Eccles Cake for a darkly rich, gently spiced, pale-golden-headed pour.
