Description: Chateau Fontvert is located in the village of Lourmarin in the Luberon Mountains of Provence. These mountains provide protection from the fierce Mistral wind and create the perfect condition for the healthy vines to grow ripe grapes.
Most vineyards nowadays are a maze of steel wire trellises designed to make it possible for harvesting machines to shake grapes from the vines as efficiently as possible. These vines used in the Apolline wines grow happily on their own in bushes and make a 2023 rose bursting with fresh strawberries, raspberries and grapefruit.
