Description: If a Memphis dry rub and Kansas City BBQ had a baby, it would be our BBQ Rodeo rub. Sweet and smokey, our Rodeo Rub has a dried apple base giving it delicious fruity acidity. Works incredibly well with food cooked over a fire. Originally developed with venison in mind, this actually pairs very well with both dark meats and lighter meats. You can use a dry rub or mix with oil for more of a marinade for both meat and vegetables. Add to fajita style mixes, cowboy beans, tomato based pasta dishes for a simple way to add some yee-haw to your midweek scran.
Great on: Venison backstraps, pigeon, beef mince and even pan-fried chicken or partridge. Cowboy beans, chorizo and red pepper traybakes. Mixed through yoghurt for a delicious BBQ Dip.
