Jose Gourmet - Sardines In Butter - 90g Net

The fish is plump and substantial, with a full sardine flavour running through the dairy richness underneath. Everything lands softer and slower on the palate than you expect from sardines, though the character of the fish stays clear from start to finish.

Warm the sealed tin in freshly boiled water for a few minutes before opening and spoon everything onto soft bread, or open it cold and scoop the contents onto hot toast if you like a cold buttery bite. Have a lemon on hand.
