Description: The Languedoc region that lies along France's western Mediterranean coast produces more wine than anywhere else in the country. And this unassuming Vin de Pays made by a cooperative near Beziers is an fine example of the type of good quality, but inexpensive wines that can be had from round here. A savoury blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Merlot this has plenty of fruit along with a very good structure. It's got red fruit aromas of cranberries and red cherries and is light, clean and fresh on the palate with hints of cassis and vanilla balanced with a lively acidity. It's a good example of the modern Southern French winemaker's art. Vegan Friendly.
