Black Iris x Kraft Werks - I'm The Hoperator - Red IPA - 5.6% - 440ml Can

Description: For our first Birthday Beer, we've teamed up with our great friends at Kraftwerks. Our connections to Kraftwers are varied and long standing. Co-owner Sam used to work with me in the Lincolnshire Poacher back in 2009 when I first entered the beer industry as a wide eyed bartender after leaving uni. Plus Sam and Ed both helped build our taproom 5 years ago.

Kraftwerks have always been great supporters of Black Iris so it was a pleasure to have the whole team down to brew up a delicious Red IPA. We added Columbus, Chinook, Cascade and Centennial hops in multiple additions in the copper to build layers of bitterness and resinous depth.

We then conditioned on Amarillo T90 and Chinook CGX for that extra kick of orange peel and citrus to balance the malt sweetness. With a Kev Grey take on some classic German techno album covers, I'm The Hoperator is a modern take on a rare beer style. Vegan Friendly
